Asl Belgi is Uzbekistan's national digital product marking and traceability system. Every product in a group that requires marking gets a unique DataMatrix code, and its movement is recorded in the system.
The aim is to fight counterfeit and illegal trade, protect honest manufacturers and let buyers check that a product is genuine. A buyer can scan the code with a smartphone and see information about the product.
Which product groups must be marked, and from when, is set by government decisions and the list keeps growing, so check the current list in official sources. BDB helps choose the equipment and set up printing and applying the codes.
