1. Check the requirements. Confirm in official sources whether your product is in a group that must be marked, and from when.
2. Register in the system. The company connects to the marking system, which usually requires an electronic digital signature. Prepare product records and their GTIN numbers.
3. Order and print codes. Codes received from the system are printed on a label or directly on the packaging. Depending on volume you choose a desktop or industrial printer, or an applicator on the line.
4. Verify and put into circulation. Applied codes are scanned, aggregated into boxes if needed, and the goods are put into circulation in the system. BDB helps choose the equipment and set up the process.
