Aggregation links marked items to a group package such as a box, bundle or pallet. Each box gets its own code, and the system records which item codes it contains.
The result is much faster warehousing and logistics: instead of scanning every item, staff scan one box code. This matters most for manufacturers and distributors shipping large volumes.
Aggregation is done at the end of the production line with scanners or cameras, a box label printer and software. Data collection terminals are used for manual aggregation. Requirements can differ by product group; BDB will match the equipment to your process.
