Preparing your accounting and warehouse for digital tax reporting

A clean product catalogue, scanning and automatic documents are the basis for digital reporting.

Tax reporting is increasingly digital: receipts, invoices and marking data are all transmitted electronically. That makes it essential for warehouse data and accounting data to match.

Start with three steps. First, clean up the product catalogue: remove duplicates and give every product a barcode and a catalogue code. Second, record receiving and shipping by scanning, so documents are built from actual movements rather than typed by hand. Third, train staff and assign responsibilities.

Ask your accountant and official sources about the reporting requirements themselves. BDB sets up the scanners, terminals and label printing process.
